New pieces, old ones, and the houses they live in. Since 2015 I've built custom furniture in wood and metal, restored heirlooms, and made built-ins that suit an older home's character instead of fighting it. Spoons, vases and wooden toys come off the same bench to make the objects around you more beautiful and ergonomic.
The M-Series, Pants Chair, Benches & the K Chair.
Dining, office, night stands & the 6yt.
Cabinets and casework that hide the mess.
For the top shelf, with your dignity intact.
Including steel roses that never need watering.
Sets built fast and struck even faster.
Wooden cars and trucks built to be handed down.
Carved spoons, serving boards and coasters.
Bud vases, turned bowls and engraved wall art.
I restore furniture to the way it was the day you bought it — refinishing, reupholstery and structural repair for all interior furniture, right here in Essex County. Send me a photo of the patient and I'll tell you what's possible.
I'm a furniture designer/maker and a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology's School of American Crafts, working in wood and metal out of West Orange, New Jersey. My work has been shown at the 2014 CIAS Honors Show as well as Gallery R and the Vignelli Center in Rochester, NY. I also teach the next generation as the woodshop teacher at West Orange High School.
My work focuses on dynamic pieces that mix wood and metal, drawing on the industrial machinery of modern life — with a healthy dislike for right angles and a soft spot for asymmetry, curves and clever joinery. I like going against the tide of disposable "flat pack" furniture, building pieces that are comfortable, sustainable, and made to be treasured for years.
On top of furniture I design and build custom built-ins and details that set a home apart. Always up for a challenge — if you've got a project, I'd love to hear about it.

Custom work, furniture restoration and repair, or just a good question — I answer my own mail.
